Meor's Poland trip was an amazing experience that taught me how to think in a way I had never before experienced. The staff has challenged me more than I ever expected and I feel my collegiate intellectual and personal development is largely due to the work of this program.
The Maimonides program was the most significant thing I did in college. I learned what it meant to be a Jew, how to live my life in a moral and empathetic way, and how to grow as a human being. After several years in the program and completion of the Israel trip I can say that I am a completely different person than I was when I entered Penn.
Meor has become a home for me at Penn. The Maimonides program has given me the opportunity to further develop my identity and explore important issues in Judaism. It has also provided me a comfortable home on campus. Enjoying Shabbat meals with friends and going on a number of the trips has introduced me to an inspiring community at Penn and strengthened me as I prepare to leave college.
